Films International is dedicated to help turn the tide against mindless main
stream cinema, commonly referred to as 'the box office', 'the opening weekend',
'tests' and 'the blockbuster'!

Director
SEAN
BRANDT, born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, has worked as a director
and photographer internationally for fifteen years, having been based in Paris,
Frankfurt, Milan, Copenhagen, London and New York.
He
was the longest assistant to legend French Vogue photographer,
GUY BOURDIN, considered by his peers as the greatest photographer of all time
and one of 20th centuries leading visual artist. Sean also assisted the famed
director / photographer SARAH MOON, most highly awarded commercial director-5
Gold Lions; for five years and worked on her feature, 'Mississippi One', winner
of best female director and voted by Variety as that years best art film.
He
was taken "under the wing" by NYU FILM school head & legend;
former original Actor studio member, Professor Marketa Kimbrel for 21/2 years
learning to act, direct and write for film. This relationship led Sean to
study with Milan Stitt, former head of YALE Drama school and Professor Venable
Heddon, NYU screen writing head.
Elizabeth
11,his feature was developed at SUNDANCE INSTITUTE directing lab with outstanding
success and enthusiasm. Sean received a screenwriting diploma from AFTRS,
his native Australia National film school. He was an actor in residence at
the prestigious, Maine's International Film Workshops.
Sean
has been awarded internationally as Director and Producer having won awards
at Cannes and New York Festivals. His ABC New York Production, "Cuba
Undercover" was estimated to have in excess of 19 million viewers. His
music clip he also wrote, produced, directed, shot, edited for "Blue
House" helped open the Edinburgh Festival. His commissions as an international
photographer have included French, Italian Vogue, The Face, Interview, Harpers
Bazaar, Cacheral Homme International and has had portfolios of his work in
all international editions of "ZOOM", "PHOTO" and "BLACK
& WHITE". He has won more than a dozen awards for advertising photography
and directing. Sean speaks fluent French and German.
